About Us

Our Philosophy is Quite Simple:
We “build character, mind, and body” through the love of basketball so that it becomes engrained in the character of our youth.  This has been the philosophy of The Sky Is The Limit Basketball since its existence and is often a wakeup call for youth that introduces them to the keys to success, both on and off the basketball court.

The Sky Is The Limit Basketball was founded in 2001 by Adonus Burton, who firmly believes that his experience as a former collegiate and professional athlete is the perfect platform from which to be heard and to teach youth the fundamentals and advanced skills they need to be competitive.  The youth that participate in the program have a huge advantage because they are learning skills on a higher level under the guidance and tutelage of professional and skilled athletes.

“The intense practices, drills, and attitude adjustments that I have experienced over the years have taught me the mental toughness, work ethic, and determination it takes to succeed and be competitive at a very high level. Being able to share my knowledge with youth and see them develop their skills has made it all worthwhile.”
